Logan's Class Program

Logan's class had a reader's theater and sang some songs for their class program. Logan was Froggy in Froggy Goes to School. He was very animated. He read so well even though he was nervous. Great job Logan!

Ashlyn's preschool program and graduation

It is hard to believe that after 6 straight years none of our children will be going to Miss Julie's. Ashlyn loved performing on stage. She looks forward to it all year. She was really cute.

Baseball

Connor's favorite sport is baseball. He might tell you different things throughout the year depending on what sport he is playing, but, baseball is his true passion. He wants to play catch or is out pitching non-stop. He has pitched, played catcher or 1st base most of the time this season. He is getting to be a really good player. Unfortunately more than half the season was rained out. They will be making up the games but Chad and I will miss all the make-up games. Logan's coach pitch games just started last week so we will miss most of his games too. I will be sad to miss all the games. I really enjoy watching the kids play. (This video isn't Logan's best moment batting but I stopped filming right when he got a great hit and forgot to film the other time he batted).

Soccer

Both boys have been playing soccer this year. This is a new one for us. Connor doesn't usually play but this spring he decided to try it. Both boys did great and both are considering playing comp soccer next year. Connor will have to make the hard decision of playing soccer or football.

Part Mermaid?

Ashlyn took some swimming lessons this month. She loved every minute of it. She is a great swimmer if she can do it her way. She still struggles to swim when she has to use her arms. She likes to keep her arms to the side and just kick. Hopefully when she takes the next level in June she will get it. She would swim all day if she could. She is a mermaid with her own style.

Sledding in April

I know this is very old but I am trying to catch up. One of the days Joel, Beam, Alina and A.J. were here we went up to the Snow Basin road and went sledding. The boys were in school so just Ashlyn got to go. The kids all had a blast. I think A.J. would have stayed for several more hours. He loved playing in the snow. It was a good thing we left when we did because the asphalt had sunk from under the Expedition and we were stuck. Some nice guys coming back from Snow Basin stop to tow us out. One of the guys told us that if we had been there an hour later nobody would have been around to help.

Sad Day

Our good friends the Connor's moved this week. Claire and Ashlyn are such good friends. I don't think she gets it yet but I'm sure it will soon hit hard. They played several times a week. I will miss having the girls run back and forth. I will also miss having Stella follow me around the house. She is sweet and strong headed. When I watch her I am reminded of 2 year old Ashlyn. I will also miss my friend Julie. I am sure we will keep in touch and get the girls together for playdates, but, we will miss having them across the street.
