Jr. Jazz

Add VideoLogan is loving Jr. Jazz. Several of his friends are on his team. He has a great coach and is learning a lot. I never thought that Logan would be our scrappy player, but, every game he has had several steals. He plays great defense and has scored quite a few baskets as well!

Halloween

This was a strange Halloween because we had a Utes game that night. The boys were set on going to the game. Ashlyn decided she would rather stay with Grandma and Grandpa and go trick-or-treating with her cousins. Ashlyn is a fairy princess, Logan a Ute's fan and Connor is wearing his Steve Smith Jersey because it was a "black out" game. We all had a fun night. One fan that sits behind us even gave the boys each a couple of dollars to buy candy. Everyone was able to get sugared up!

Connor's Birthday Party

Connor decided that he wanted to invite a few friends to a corn maze rather than have a big party. The boys had a great time. They were a little disappointed that we didn't do the haunted maze but they had fun scaring each other.

Ashlyn's Halloween Program

Ashlyn did a great job in her Halloween program. Six straight years of Miss Julie's Preschool Halloween programs have come to an end.

Undefeated

Connor had his final regular season football game on Saturday. It was a great game; the only close game of the season. South Weber scored first and got the point after as well. Morgan scored in the next series but missed the point after. South Weber lead by the 1 point until the last 2 minutes of the game when we scored again but missed our extra point. Morgan once again matched our touchdown. They decided to go for the win instead of the tie by moving the ball back from the 3 to the 5 yd line, going for 2 points. Connor got the game winning tackle! He was so excited that he was bouncing when he got up. He played so hard on both sides of the ball the entire game. He even sacked their quarterback for a big loss earlier in the game. Who knew that this small team would do so well. Great job Connor! Great job Knights!

Soccer???

Ashlyn is really liking soccer, however, I'm not sure she understands what soccer is. Apparently she thinks it is socializing, checking out the other girls hair dos, doing cheers and holding hands with her friend Claire. We thought she would do well because she loves playing football with Connor and Logan. Even though we started them in sports at 3 the boys were always into it. They always played hard and cheered on their teammates when goals were scored. I don't think Ashlyn is even aware that she is supposed to be playing a game. She will usually kick the ball a couple of times a game so she can get money.--I had to bribe her so she would at least occasionally try. What 4 year old won't do for a couple of coins. She doesn't even care if it is pennies as long as it rattles around in her purse or piggy bank. She is actually very funny to watch but we will be waiting awhile until we put her in sports again.
